Formerly known as the Early Fall Start program, College Edge has been launching new UW students into their college careers for over two decades. Through small, experiential seminars with UW faculty, students build community, gain confidence navigating college life, and begin developing the academic, career, and AI awareness skills they will carry through their UW experience and beyond.

The UNHIREABLE podcast is an honest discussion on how college is failing to prepare students for early career success. We’re not pulling any punches. Hosted by Kevin Mihata, Matt Erickson, Liz Copland, Kiera Dempsey, and Maile Soo, an eclectic team including a social theorist, an employer partner liaison, a former academic advisor, and gen-z novice professionals.
