Externship Program

WHY C21@AMAZON EXTERNSHIP?

An externship is a short-term training program outside of academic content but still related to long-term learning goals. The C21@Amazon Externship is led by mentors at Amazon for students to get insider knowledge around the roles and diversity of a global workforce. Fundamentals of professionalization and career development will be explored through the lens of Seattle’s global innovator.

 

EXTERNSHIP DETAILS

  • Students will meet virtually in small groups with Externship mentors at Amazon during 
  • Meetings will be synchronous and occur either Tuesdays or Wednesdays in the late afternoon—usually between 4:30pm and 6:00pm. 
  • Pre-externship training will take place in before first meetings with mentors.
  • This program is for any UW Arts & Sciences major interested in professionalization and understanding 21st century careers.
  • This externship is not designed as a pathway to employment at Amazon.
