C21 Externships
C21 Externship Programs which are held each year in winter quarter. Open to all majors, the C21@Amazon and C21@Microsoft externships are short-term career development programs designed specifically for the needs of majors in the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. They are not academic in content, but are focused on how liberal arts majors can begin to engage in professional practice to prepare for life after graduation. After initial training by C21 staff, students in the C21 externships will engage with professionals in small-group mentoring meetings to work through the fundamentals of early career development and clarify what it takes for students to transition from academic training to professional life in any field and with any type of organization.
C21 Internship Bootcamp
In the C21 Internship Bootcamp you’ll see how to use your first two weeks at an internship to prove you are a more than a student. You’ll develop the skills employers want, and learn how to establish a reputation as a capable, reliable professional. The Internship Bootcamp is a 3-week, immersive training program to develop professional skills in a real-world setting. All of this will happen remotely, like most professional work around the world right now.As part of the training (approx 10 hrs/week) you will be onboarded with a cohort of intern trainees into gesture--our own C21 training startup--where you will have a manager, work responsibilities, and constant feedback and evaluation.
