Matt Erickson

Matt is involved with all aspects related to situating Arts & Sciences students for careers that best fit their strengths, goals, and motivations. From exploring majors to putting your best self forward after graduation, Matt is devoted to empowering our A&S students to succeed in any professional setting they choose. Matt began his A&S career after completing his MA work in the UW's Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilization where he became an undergraduate advisor. Most recently, Matt was an advisor and director of academic services for the UW Department of History. A life-long learner, he hopes all A&S majors will value and promote their understanding of complexities that a liberal arts degree provides.
